Contrast in the living roomArmchairs and sofas should be combined with each other on the basis of colour contrast. You can also combine different styles. Interior designers encourage to experiment with the choice of leisure furniture and to be inspired by the Scandinavian style. The point is that armchairs and sofa should not be a set, but should be chosen on the basis of colour contrast. Thanks to original combinations, the room arrangement gains in originality.

For example, you can have a sofa and armchair in the same style, but in a slightly different upholstery, a different color, or you can go completely crazy, choosing an armchair in contrast to the sofa and the rest of the living room equipment, thus gaining one stronger accent in the interior.

For example, you can choose an antique armchair with elegant cushions or vice versa for a modern sofa. But decorators emphasize that it is not necessary to buy new furniture to change the character of the interior. Just rely on your imagination or look for inspiration in professional magazines or on the Internet.

It's easy to change the décor of your living room in an inexpensive way by choosing armchairs with replaceable covers. Then we can, for example, have three different covers and change them depending on the mood or season. Another good suggestion is to play with textiles: we can choose colourful pillows and blankets.

Armchairs woven from wicker and rattan are also fashionable. Their openwork construction ensures that they do not clutter the living room, and thanks to them the interior takes on a character. Decorators explain that it is all about being original and stylish, and above all comfortable.

For Poles, the armchair is an inseparable element of a well-equipped and cosy living room. Usually they try to choose an armchair for a sofa, i.e. they rely on the same material and style. They prefer traditional, classic, soft armchairs. We try to encourage Poles to both more courageous furnishing of the living room and more Scandinavian approach.
