scandi

Scandi interior styling came to us some time ago and became a permanent feature. We like to use Scandinavian arrangements, because although they are based on subdued colours and may seem a bit ordinary in theory, in practice they are surprising in every respect. They give a lot of room to show off, because they are diverse, and in combination with lighting, you can conjure up colourful - metaphorically and literally - home interiors.

Kinkiet more important than usual

The wall lamp serves as an additional light source. It is thanks to them that we can illuminate any angle, recess or fragments of space where the light from the ceiling lamps does not reach. But that's not all. Wall lamps decorate with light, but also their constructions make them become decorations in themselves. Therefore, they combine functionality with matching the style of the interior.

The wall sconces are a unique addition to the Scandi style. Wherever a modest luminaire counts, but attracts attention with its details and functionality and the atmosphere created by light, sconces take up this challenge.

The atmosphere is friendly, warm and sometimes romantic. The feeling of closeness and intimacy are the elements that are most characteristic for a scandi. Wall lamps are able to meet the expectations of Scandinavian interiors. Moreover, the way the light is directed not only determines the perception of aesthetics, but also the equilibrium of proportions, if necessary. It is about highlighting the most beautiful points of the house, on the other hand it is about hiding the shortcomings.

In the colors of the rainbow

Scandi-type scones can be colourful, brightly coloured, but they can also offer a pale appearance that will blend in with other distinctive additions. Blatant fuchsia or strong red will be part of the Scandinavian arrangement, but in such a case there should be only one wall lamp. You can bet on a maximum of two if you want to place them symmetrically on both sides of the bed. Such strong colors enliven the interior, but require a subdued background. So the combinations with beige, grey and white will work.

On the other hand, the arrangement is kept in a scandi, but rich in terms of the number of elements of equipment and fancy accessories, is an opportunity to illuminate the wall lamps, whose presence will betray only subtly oozing light.

Friendly and cosy

Speaking of a friendly and cosy climate, we have to think about the power of light, its colour and the way in which the light stream is directed. Translucent lampshades or textile lampshades will work best to soften the light flowing from underneath. The latter should have a warm colour and the sheaf should illuminate small fragments of space. When we need better lighting, let's just bet on more kinkiets. In this way we will preserve the atmosphere, but also not leave dark corners.

Scandi creates charming interior decorations. That's why sconces in such an original edition become something more than just additional lighting.
